The Li Sword is the first G5 treasure to be in the spotlight. I like how Wish-chan gave Syaoran's iconic sword from CCS this role.

Plothole! Moonstone says that she was created by Clow Reed. Yet she's the Ruichi's patron spirit. Moonie-chan was also gender-swapped because the pronoun in this chapter was "he".
This chapter marks the introduction of the Great Five! They'll be playing such a significant role in this series.
Fanart spotlight: I'm not narcissistic but there isn't any fanart for Chapter 6 so here is my version of Moonie-chan based on the original description of Kero's body but Mokona's ears. It's only later on she's described as bun-shaped.
I sort of laughed with the plothole because when Moonie-chan makes her appearance again in Arc 4 Syaoran was so upset at the "betrayal". But she means well lol. But like you I think that this chapter makes the real introduction to the Great Five! Super excited when I read it. Shows how much thought Wish-chan has put since the very beginning.
ReplyDeleteI guess another plothole was the reference to the twin's necklace as a bracelet in this chapter. Wonder when it changed.

The FIve Force Scroll and Moonie-chan were useful in the beginning but their roles faded through time. However, the scroll was mentioned in Chapter 47 so it's not completely gone.
